TVXQ! member Yunho, who returned as a solo artist, said, "There's fun in choosing what to listen to."
Yunho held a press conference at 2 p.m. on the 5th at the Grand Ballroom of the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul hotel in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of his solo full-length album "I-KNOW," and greeted, "After 22 years since my debut, I'm releasing a full-length album."
Yunho's full-length album "I-KNOW" is his first new release in about two years since his third mini album "Reallity Show," released in August 2023, and consists of 10 tracks of diverse charm including the double title tracks "Stretch" and "Body Language."
On the day, Yunho said about his solo comeback, "I prepared the album while greeting everyone with some long-awaited good news. The first time for anything is always exciting. Many people around me asked, 'Is your fourth lesson finally coming out?' so I would say, 'Finally, listen to the fourth lesson, "Fake & Documentary" compared,'" he said.
He went on to introduce the "I-KNOW" album, "This album, as the title suggests, wanted to express my story as it is. If the public's view of me is the artist Yunho 'fake,' then the many stories of me examining myself are the 'documentary.' I planned it thinking to pair the two parts and that those two sides together make my complete self."
He added, "I've shown many sides for more than 20 years, but what the public seems curious about now is the artist's own story. Thinking about what message I can deliver, and knowing many people and fans like Yunho's bright and healthy side, if that side is the 'fake,' I thought I can now take responsibility for how much worry and hardship there was behind showing that side, so I talked about it."
Yunho said, "The 'fake' can convey bouncy, flashy, positive messages suited to pastel tones, and the 'documentary' will probably tell the story of Jung Yunho as I've experienced and felt it. I think it's a track list with the fun of choosing what to listen to," asking for interest.
Yunho's full-length album "I-KNOW" will be released today (the 5th) at 6 p.m.
