The new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama Dynamite Kiss, which premieres at 9 p.m. on the 12th (written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min, directed by Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo), is a mutual, aching romance between a single woman who disguises herself as a mother to make a living and the head of team who falls in love with her. Actor Jang Ki-yong plays Gong Ji-hyeok, the male lead who falls head over heels in love from a catastrophe-level kiss, aiming to captivate the hearts of viewers.
Meanwhile, Jang Ki-yong graced the cover of Esquire's 2025 winter special issue. In the released photos, Jang Ki-yong pulls off unique settings and outfits reminiscent of a dystopian movie, creating an exciting narrative through the pictorial alone. Since Dynamite Kiss calls for his role as head of team, promising diverse and stylish suit fashion, Jang Ki-yong's completely different charms in the pictorial draw even more attention.
Jang Ki-yong, who personally proposed this pictorial concept, said, "It's been quite some time since I stood on a fashion show and I've focused only on acting work, but this time I wanted to bring out model Jang Ki-yong once and show him to you."
In the interview, various stories about Jang Ki-yong's comeback work Dynamite Kiss continued. Jang Ki-yong said, "(In the drama) it's amusing that all the employees who work with me, the head of team, are mothers," predicting both romantic tension and comedic elements in the workplace.
