Comedian Han Min-gwan shared an update that he is active as an 18-year veteran racer.
On the afternoon of the 5th at the Westin Chosun Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul, a press conference was held for the TVING original "Superrace Freestyle." The press conference included EP Lee Woo-hyung and PD Choi Young-rak, as well as MC Park Jun-hyung, and celebrities appearing as team managers such as Danny Ahn, Yoon Bo-mi, Gwak Beom, Kyung Soo-jin, Jung Hyuk, Seung-hee, Jo Jin-se, Eom Ji-yoon, Yoon Ha-jeong, and Lee Chang-wook, Park Si-hyun, Choi Kwang-bin, Kim Si-woo, Hwang Jin-woo, Han Min-gwan, Kim Dong-eun, No Dong-gi, Park Gyu-seung and other drivers who joined to share their stories.
"Superrace Freestyle" is a reality growth car racing entertainment show set against the "2025 O-NE Superrace Championship," in which Korea's top drivers challenge for the final first-place prize of 100 million won.
When asked about unexpected situations during racing that day, he emphasized, "I wasn't hired as a manager; I was fairly and squarely recruited as a driver," and added, "There were various unexpected situations, and I was very surprised by troubles I didn't know about with the car when purchasing it. There were so many unexpected obstacles and reversals during the races. When viewers watch the show, they might think that's why Han Min-gwan talked about reversals. To be honest, I want to speak openly, but now that the results are out I can't tell you," he said.
Kyung Soo-jin, who joined as his team manager, said, "There were many unexpected situations. Since it's the managers' first time, their reactions on the broadcast will probably be spectacular. Because the car isn't complete and is being tuned and upgraded, those parts change things in the race, so in some ways it's an entertaining element of Superrace. I hope people enjoy those parts," she said.
When asked about the strengths of the driver he was in charge of, he said in admiration, "I thought he was a comedian, but the moment he got in the car I was captivated by his focused gaze. He's a comedian, but he's an 18-year veteran racer. He's a veteran. Seeing that made me think, 'I should emulate that a lot.'"
Meanwhile, "Superrace Freestyle" will premiere on TVING and wavve on the 7th.
