The band LUCY released a music video teaser for their second title track and continues the excitement around their comeback.
On the 4th, LUCY surprised fans by releasing a music video teaser for the double title track "Daggeuphaejyeo (Feat. Wonstein)" from mini album 7 "Seon" on their official YouTube channel, foreshadowing another narrative contained in the new release.
The released video brings back the three actors who appeared in the previous music video "Sarang-eun Eojjeogo," continuing the new story. Living by compromising within their own realities, they grow increasingly tired of the repetitive routine but ultimately run to break out of the "seon," reaching a turning point. Although short, this intense teaser heightens anticipation for the flow of emotions and the completed narrative that will unfold in the full version.
The music video was directed by 815 VIDEO, which has collaborated with world-renowned K-pop artists such as BLACKPINK, TWICE and IU, raising the work's level of completion. Combined with 815 VIDEO's distinctive delicate visual beauty and detailed expression, the rhythmic elements of "Daggeuphaejyeo (Feat. Wonstein)" are rendered through dynamic storytelling, further enriching LUCY's unique musical narrative.
"Daggeuphaejyeo (Feat. Wonstein)" is a track that newly combines the sensibilities of jazz and R&B, led by jazz piano and gypsy violin that create an urban yet jazzy atmosphere. The rhythmic instrumental arrangement and lush strings deliver a deeper sound, completing a song that showcases LUCY's experimental musicality.
LUCY's mini album 7 "Seon" is an album that captures various undefinable forms of love through LUCY's unique sensibility. Featuring a total of four tracks, including the double title tracks "Daggeuphaejyeo (Feat. Wonstein)" and "Sarang-eun Eojjeogo," as well as "EIO" and "Saranghan Yeongwon," members Cho Won-sang and Shin Ye-chan are credited on the songs, demonstrating their musical capabilities. Through this new release, LUCY is said to have presented a deepened narrative within an expanded musical spectrum by portraying the dual sides of love through evocative music and visuals.
With all seats sold out, LUCY will hold "2025 LUCY 8TH CONCERT 'LUCID LINE'" for three days from the 7th to the 9th at Ticketlink Live Arena in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, and will continue nationwide with standalone concerts at Busan KBS Hall on the 29th and 30th. Under the theme "a clearly shining line," LUCY will present an expanded musical world and deepened sensibility on stage, closely connecting with fans.
