Actress Song Ji-hyo has been drawing continuous attention with remarks about marriage as she moves between variety shows and YouTube.
On the Sept. broadcast of SBS 'Running Man', member Kim Jong-kook's surprise marriage announcement aired. The members could not hide their astonishment, saying, "Isn't this YouTube content?" and "I still can't believe it." Among them, Song Ji-hyo said, "I was moved. It was so good that I saved it in my notes," and choked up as she revealed her feelings, drawing attention.
But the mood quickly reversed. During a couple mission, Song Ji-hyo suddenly threw out an unexpected remark, "If you couple with me you can get married," turning the set into a sea of laughter. The members burst out laughing, saying, "Isn't that a sudden acceleration?" and "What confidence is that?" and Ji Seok-jin retorted, "If you marry me you'll get a pension," adding to the laughter.
That Song Ji-hyo again drew attention by frankly confessing her "views on marriage" on the Nov. 3 episode of the YouTube variety show "Zzanbro".
That day Song Ji-hyo said, "If someone respects my lifestyle, I can be with them for life," and added, "I think love is not a union but an intersection. Even if you're different, it's fine if you respect each other's routines." She continued, "I'm not young, so if I meet that kind of person I want to be with them for life," conveying her heartfelt feelings.
As for an external ideal type, she said, "someone like Winnie the Pooh," describing "someone big with a soft belly, the warm feeling when you hug them." Shin Dong-yup joked, "Then you must have cried at Kim Jun-hyun and Moon Se-yoon's weddings," and Song Ji-hyo burst out laughing, saying, "I like soft charm."
Following her recent remark on 'Running Man' that "if you couple with me you can get married," and her confession of an ideal type on "Zzanbro", fans are reacting, "Isn't Song Ji-hyo really going to become off the market?" Netizens have shown intense interest with comments such as "It seems like the right timing to really get married now," "a blunt person but warm inside," and "her ideal type is so realistic."<
