Actor Park Joong-hoon mentioned the recent condition of senior actor Ahn Sung-ki as he published his essay "Don't regret."
On the afternoon of the 4th, a press conference to commemorate the publication of Park Joong-hoon's essay "Don't regret" was held at Jeongdong 1928 Art Center, located on Deoksugung-gil in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was organized as a time for Park Joong-hoon to speak candidly about the book under the moderation of pianist and writer Moon A-ram.

Park Joong-hoon said, "To speak about senior Ahn Sung-ki first, hiding it does not make it hidden. His health is quite poor. I will express it to that extent."
He especially said, "It has been more than a year since I last saw his face. Personally, he has not been in a situation to exchange calls or texts, so I have been asking his family members about his condition," and added, "He speaks matter-of-factly, but it is very sad," which moved many.
He continued, "He is a respected mentor, filmmaker, senior and mentor-like person with whom I made four films over 40 years. He is someone I respect both as an actor and as a person, but I don't think he is in a situation to fully feel that I published a book, so I am very sad."
