Group 2AM's Jo Kwon shared that his pet dog Gaga is battling cancer. Fellow celebrities and fans have been offering support.
On the 2nd, Jo Kwon wrote on his social media, "Gaga, who always seemed like she would be one year old forever, has already turned 12. As she has entered old age, her left eye is almost blind and her hearing is gradually failing. Her fur, once deep brown, has turned white, and even as I write this she is looking at me by my side," sharing an update.
He continued, "I think Gaga has been in pain for some time. She showed me signs through a sudden loss of weight, and during Chuseok a tumor was found in her small intestine, so she underwent open surgery. The biopsy results revealed malignant adenocarcinoma of the small intestine (small intestine cancer)."
Jo Kwon said, "Small intestine cancer reportedly has a poor prognosis. These days, after musical rehearsals and schedules are over, I rush home to take care of Gaga. Each day is painful, but the time I can stroke Gaga and be with her is so precious and I am grateful."
He also said, "She will start chemotherapy soon. I'm worried whether Gaga will be able to overcome it, but as her caregiver, all I can do is do my best until the end. I'm praying for our Gaga, who is like an angel," expressing his earnest feelings.
Finally, Jo Kwon added, "This moment will not come again once it passes, so I hope for ordinary days without incident. I would appreciate it if those who love Gaga could say even a small prayer for our angel Gaga."
In response to Jo Kwon's heartfelt confession, fellow entertainers and fans continued to offer support. Actress Go So-young said, "Gaga, stay strong, I'll pray for you," Yoon Park said, "Gaga.!
