Actor Ko Jun-hee revealed her success with "shatech" (Chanel + investment).
On the 3rd, the YouTube channel Ko Jun-hee GO posted a video titled "The Chanel story I bought for 1,200,000 won.. I reveal everything." That day Ko Jun-hee took out the luxury C-brand (Chanel) bags she owns and shared stories from over the years.
Ko Jun-hee said, "I used to have many more, but now I gave some away, sold some used, and share them with my mother, so only about 12 remain." She then recalled her first luxury bag: "I received it as a gift from my father at my coming-of-age ceremony. My father said he would buy me a luxury bag for the first time, so I was so excited," she recalled.
She explained, "At that time I happened to go to Paris for a shoot, and after a family meeting we bought it at a Paris store. It was about 300,000 won cheaper than the duty-free shop, so I purchased it for 1,200,000 won."
Ko Jun-hee said, "Most of the bags I own were bought in my 20s. Back then they were in the 200,000–3,000,000 won range, but now prices have really risen a lot," adding, "I didn't buy them to do shatech, but because I bought them early it naturally turned out that way. Now I can't buy this same one either," she said with a laugh.
The bag she bought for 1,200,000 won is now valued at more than ten times that price.
