'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' model Lee Hyun prepared a special photo shoot to mark her 20th anniversary since debut and revealed the "Lee Na-young honey-tip routine" she has followed for 20 years.
On the March 3 broadcast of SBS entertainment show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 – You Are My Destiny,' footage showed Lee Hyun going to a photo shoot commemorating her 20th anniversary as a model.
Lee Hyun said, "At my first photo shoot 20 years ago, actress Lee Na-young was a colleague at the same shop," and "the director said, 'If there is no fat on the face, eat a melon the night before and you will puff up prettily the next day.' Back then Lee Na-young tried it, so I followed, and I've been doing it for 20 years."
Hearing this, Kim Sook laughed, saying, "If Lee Na-young did it, I would believe it immediately!" and Lee Hyun added, "When I'm tired and my eyes look hollow, photo shoots actually come out better."
Lee Hyun said, "Now that I'm in my 40s, I think there should be polish and a ripe depth," and "with 20 years of know-how, I want to shoot a photo spread that befits a veteran," she said. She mentioned an anecdote about perfectly pulling off the past 'avocado outfit' and laughed, "There are things a model has to go through. That was my first photo shoot."
Fencing athlete Oh Sang-wook, who appeared with her, said, "I agree with what Lee Hyun said," and shared behind-the-scenes stories of his first photo shoot. He said, "I shot with great enthusiasm, but the director wasn't satisfied. I became increasingly tired and my expression stiffened, but he said that was actually good," he laughed. His later-revealed photo spread, featuring a hooded sweatshirt and underwear in a 'bottomless concept,' drew everyone's admiration.
Oh Sang-wook said, "My routine before a match is having no routine. I win with mentality without jinxes," showing the composure of a gold medalist.
