Actor Kim Min-joon recalled his first meeting with his wife Kwon Da-mi, who is well known as the older sister of singer G-Dragon.
On the March 3 broadcast of Channel A 'Close friend to-kyumentary - table for four', actor Park Joong-hoon invited his close friends Heo Jae and Kim Min-joon to his home.
That day, when Kim Min-joon was asked about his first meeting with his wife Kwon Da-mi, he said, I saw each other a lot on the street. At the house of a couple who are frequent visitors among friends, I like riding bikes so I was wearing a leather jacket, carrying a helmet and my motorcycle, and I was crossing the street when a high-performance sports car sped toward me without slowing down. I was so scared. I thought it was driven by a hot-tempered macho man, so I gripped my helmet tightly and glared. It stopped, and it turned out to be a woman. Later I saw that she was my wife, he said, revealing his first impression.
In response, Park Kyung-lim asked, Didn't you know she was Ji-yong's sister, and Kim Min-joon said, A junior gave me a hint. She was (G-Dragon's) older sister. So I said, Oh, is that so, and that was it. But my wife also had a close friend living in the apartment next to that friend's house, so they visited each other often and I think we ran into each other there a few times. My wife thought, Kim Min-joon seems nice, and asked around if anyone knew Kim Min-joon, but my wife's junior turned out to be all my close juniors. It naturally led to a blind date, he explained.
In particular, Kim Min-joon said that when his wife asked, Are you the same as when we dated, he said, I wondered why my personality would change after having a son, so I looked for data. But I couldn't find any data, he said, revealing that he had changed after the birth.
He said, Because our son is 4 years old, how lively can he be. When I play with my son, he sometimes makes mistakes and spills things, right? Then someone appears from somewhere and scolds him together. I'm the firstborn and my son has become like the second. The house should be relaxed to ease tension, but everything in our house is set rigidly. I told my wife to fix that and to be more relaxed, he confessed.
He continued, I said if there is hair it should be picked up in the evening because seeing it and picking it up immediately is not good for the child's emotions, yet while saying that I'm picking up hair while playing with the child. I end up doing it thinking my wife will do it anyway, he said. Hearing this, Park Joong-hoon fired a blunt question, It seems like you're afraid of your wife?, which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Min-joon married fashion designer Kwon Da-mi in 2019 and they have a son.
