The Running Man, a film that will captivate theaters in December with thrilling action and its premise, is drawing attention for the meeting of director Edgar Wright, known for Baby Driver, and actor Glen Powell, who heated up audiences worldwide through Top Gun: Maverick.
The Running Man is a chase-action blockbuster in which unemployed family man Ben Richards (Glen Powell) joins a global survival program to survive for 30 days against brutal pursuers for a huge cash prize.
Director Edgar Wright said, "This film had excellent stunt performers, but Glen Powell wanted to do as many scenes as possible himself. If we had allowed it, he probably would have done them all," increasing curiosity about Glen Powell's fearless action.
With Edgar Wright's signature rhythmic direction and Glen Powell's fearless performance promising fully charged dopamine action, The Running Man is scheduled to be released on Dec. 3, 2025.
