Group I-dle's Miyeon shared her feelings about returning as a solo artist after 3 years and 6 months.
Miyeon held a showcase in the afternoon of the 3rd at Blue Square in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of her second mini album "MY, Lover" and talked about the new album.
While mini album 1 "MY" captured Miyeon's very existence, mini album 2 "MY, Lover" explores the emotions of love from various perspectives. It sequentially conveys moments of breakup and lingering attachment, regret and reminiscence, overcoming and devotion, and finally unfolds a story of facing a more mature self.
Returning as a solo artist 3 years and 6 months after her first mini album "MY" in 2022, Miyeon said, "I spent many busy but happy times. It's been 3 years and 6 months since my last solo comeback, so there was quite a bit of time. I prepared hard and came back. I hope you give it a lot of love."
Regarding what she expects from this promotion, she said, "During my first album activities it was the COVID period, so there weren't many opportunities to meet fans in person, but this time I think I will be able to see them up close a lot, so I'm looking forward to it."
