'My Little Old Boy' Im Won-hee, PD arranged blind date fails again? "I want to feel butterflies even for a month"… another blind date teased
On My Little Old Boy, actor Im Won-hee shared the candid feelings of a 12-year divorced single and hinted at another new connection.
On the Feb. 2 broadcast of the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy (My Little Old Boy), Im Won-hee and Yoon Min-soo appeared and talked about marriage, divorce and falling in love again.
That day Im Won-hee calmly said, "The marriage lasted two years," and added, "Because it was a short marriage, there was no property division. We didn't split the furniture; we just threw it away." When asked, "Isn't that a shame?" he answered, "I think it's right for those memories to disappear as they were." He also added about the house he used to live in, "That person moved out."
Asked which announcement was more nervous, the marriage or the divorce, he replied with his characteristic chic response, "Neither," prompting Kim Hee-cheul to burst into laughter and ask, "Did he even get married?"
Yoon Min-soo said, "I currently have no intention of meeting someone new," but Im Won-hee advised, "I thought I might try around the fourth or fifth year, but then it was too late. Even if you don't feel it now, don't put it off." He added, "Whether divorced or having children doesn't matter. If it's someone I fall for, that's enough," and sincerely said, "I want to feel butterflies even for a month."
In response, Yoon Min-soo said, "Hearing your type makes me think of the older women around me. One came to mind. She was born in 1979 and I like her," teasing a new blind date and drawing attention.
Earlier, in the July broadcast Im Won-hee once felt excitement from a blind date arranged by a PD with a "highly educated person working in the same industry." At the time he said, "It's a miracle that a blind date came in," and added, "I'll treat it as the last one and take it seriously," and later recounted that the blind date contact reached out first and they drank together until 1 a.m., raising expectations.
However, no further progress was heard afterward. In this broadcast Yoon Min-soo teased "another blind date," hinting at a fresh breeze in Im Won-hee's love life. Viewers who watched the show sent warm support, saying, "Im Won-hee, I hope you meet a good match this time," "I empathized with the heartfelt words," "Saying you want to feel butterflies even for a month is so realistic," and "Ms. born in 1979, please contact him."
A short marriage, a long gap. Yet Im Won-hee is still a man who wants to believe in love. Can he meet a real connection this time? Viewers' support is once again directed toward him.<
