Actor Kim Min-jun raised expectations about his son Eden's future.
On the March 3 broadcast of Channel A "Close friend to-kyumentary - table for four," actor Park Joong-hoon invited his close friends Heo Jae and Kim Min-jun to his home.
When asked what kind of father he is that day, he said, "Personally, I'm running a small business so I can spend a lot of time [with him]. Kids catch colds a lot these days, don't they? I took him and went to the hospital, and the child said, 'Dad. Dad, exactly what is your job?' I wanted to tell him exactly, so I explained in detail and broke out in a sweat," he said, drawing laughter.
Park Kyung-rim mentioned his brother-in-law G-Dragon, saying, "Ji-yong really doted on his nephew. When you see what he posts on social media sometimes," and Kim Min-jun recounted, "Actually when my child was born I declared something. When the child grows and has discernment, let him decide whether to make his face public. I think that's a role we have to protect. So everyone unanimously agreed and we absolutely would not post, but suddenly my brother-in-law started posting first," he said, sharing the episode.
He explained, "(When G-Dragon) started posting, I resisted fiercely. I said, 'We agreed not to post, why are you posting?' and he replied, 'I didn't hear that?' So it became more widely known," he said.
Park Kyung-rim asked, "Eden has a father who is an actor, a mother who is a fashion designer, and an uncle who is a world-renowned singer. Which side will Eden's talent lean toward?" Kim Min-jun said, "Personally, I hope he resembles his uncle," but added, "Whatever it is, it will probably turn out well."
Park Kyung-rim asked, "Do you see any signs? Does he have a sense of rhythm?" Kim Min-jun said, "I don't know yet. But my mother-in-law, in a way, is a star maker. She took Ji-yong around from a young age, so her eye is sharp. The child seems to have some talent, so I asked my mother-in-law. I asked, 'How was Ji-yong at that age compared to now?' and she said, 'Ji-yong had much more talent,'" he said with regret.
