"The divorce announcement made me more nervous"… Yoon Min-soo ends with a 'beautiful agreement,' not property division
Singer Yoon Min-soo candidly spoke about the process of parting from his ex-wife as he ends a 20-year marriage.
On the 2nd episode of SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, Yoon Min-soo mentioned the divorce.
That day, appearing as a one-year single again, Yoon Min-soo grants and shared his feelings at the time of the divorce.
Yoon Min-soo said, in response to the question, "How did you divide the property?", "It's not like that, we just divided what each of us needed," adding, "There were things we wanted to swap, and we agreed nicely." He continued, "There was no lawsuit. It was finished quietly and cleanly," emphasizing the amicable separation.
He honestly confessed, "I was much more nervous when announcing the divorce than when announcing the marriage," and "I felt very sorry toward people."
After spending 20 years together, Yoon Min-soo and his ex showed mutual respect for each other's lives as they went their separate ways. Viewers responded to his calm confession that it ended by "agreement" rather than "property division," saying, "It was a mature separation," and "I hope it remains a good memory for both."
Meanwhile, Yoon Min-soo drew attention in August when he was seen looking for a house in person. In September, according to a media report, he put up for sale a building in Sangam-dong, Seoul that he purchased in 2022 for about 4 billion won. Although the building is in an area expected to rise in value due to designation as a nearby K-culture business district, some analyses noted that when considering loan interest and taxes the actual benefit might not be large.
Amid continued concern as attention turned to his financial matters after the divorce announcement, Yoon Min-soo revealed his actual new home, attracting attention for moving into a four-story house. Instead, there was a twist that made one expect a comfortable solo life.
