A former member of the group After School, Gahee shared news that she has transformed into a dance instructor.
Recently, Gahee posted on her social media, "Too excited~~ join Gahee's dance fitness!!" along with a video taken during a class.
In the released video, Gahee, wearing a microphone, demonstrates directly in front of dance academy students and leads an energetic class with high-energy moves. Her solid skills and professional charisma, which make her long hiatus seem irrelevant, drew attention.
Actor So Yoo-jin left a fire emoji in the comments to show support, and Gahee replied, "Yujin!!! You have to come!!!" showing their close friendship.
Earlier, Gahee confessed, "After leaving After School I really hit rock bottom. I wasn't cared for by the company and suffered financial hardship," but she chose a new challenge instead of despair. She recently returned to Korea and established the dance academy "Gise Crew," starting a new life on her own stage.
She later said, "Teaching children how to dress up and how to look prettier and how to appear to dance better, sharing the know-how I have, and seeing the children absorb it and change is so enjoyable and fun. There was a depressing time when I felt like I was dying because I had no dreams. After meeting Gise Crew I am dreaming again," expressing satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Gahee married a businessman in 2016 and has two sons. After living in Bali, Indonesia, for five years following her marriage, she returned to Korea and is now experiencing a second heyday as a "dance CEO".
