Actor Kim Ji-hoon meets viewers with a new charm through Nice to Not Meet You.
The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Nice to Not Meet You, set to premiere at 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 3 (Mon) (directed by Kim Ga-ram, written by Jeong Yeo-rang, planned and produced by Studio Dragon, Studio & New, Artist Company), is a drama about a war of diss, fact bombing and smashing prejudice between a national actor who has lost his initial passion and an entertainment reporter obsessed with realizing justice.
In the play, Kim Ji-hoon plays Lee Jae-hyung, a former major leaguer baseball player and currently the president of Sports Eunseong. He is a character loved by everyone for his handsome looks, perfect physique and sincere personality. Lee Jae-hyung, enhanced by Kim Ji-hoon's stable acting and convincing expressions such as his romantic gaze, is expected to be a character that firmly anchors the center of the story.
This work is especially expected as a transformative role that completely overturns the image of Kim Ji-hoon being remembered as a "sexy long-haired villain." It also draws attention as a work where viewers can once again meet the long-awaited "Kim Ji-hoon-style romance."
So far, Kim Ji-hoon has steadily expanded his acting spectrum in dramas such as The Haunted Palace and Ijae, Soon to Die, and the film Ballerina. In particular, he left an overwhelming presence as the cold-blooded killer Gun in the Amazon Prime Video series Butterfly, and in the Netflix series Crime Scene Zero he perfectly portrayed a character with delicate emotional acting. He also proved he can work in the global market by drawing domestic and international viewers' response as Kim Gisa in the Netflix series Genie, Make A Wish, leaving a strong impression despite a short screen time.
At the 45th Golden Camera Awards ceremony, he solidified his position as a must-watch actor by winning the best acting award in the drama category.
