My Little Old Boy's Jo Jeong-seok revealed what led to having a second child.
On the Feb. 2 broadcast of SBS entertainment show My Little Old Boy (hereinafter My Little Old Boy), Jo Jeong-seok appeared as the next special MC.
In that day's preview, when Jo Jeong-seok appeared as the special MC, Shin Dong-yup mentioned Jo Jeong-seok and singer Gummy's "second pregnancy," saying, "You said you had no plans for a second child, but heaven just gave it to you."
Jo Jeong-seok recalled, "When I was filming the movie My Daughter Is a Zombie in Haenam, my wife called me. Out of the blue she said, 'Oppa, shall we try for a second child?' I jumped up and left right away." Hearing this, Shin Dong-yup asked, "So you immediately went up to Seoul?" which drew laughter.
In the following VCR preview, original romantic lead Choi Soo-jong appeared and drew attention. Choi Jin-hyuk asked, "You have been married for quite a long time. Yet you two still get along so well." Choi Soo-jong said, "When I saw my wife at the broadcasting station, she looked like an angel," and Jo Jeong-seok emphasized the similarity, saying, "Saying she looked like an angel is something very similar to me."
Meanwhile, Park Kyung-lim asked Choi Soo-jong, "If your daughter brought a boyfriend home. You love your daughter so much, but the boyfriend might not be to your liking. But your daughter really likes him—what would you do?" In the studio, Seo Jang-hoon also asked Jo Jeong-seok, "The boyfriend has everything that Jo Jeong-seok dislikes most. What would you do?" Already overly invested, Choi Soo-jong and Jo Jeong-seok showed serious looks of concern, arousing curiosity.
Meanwhile, Jo Jeong-seok married singer Gummy in 2018 and had their first daughter in 2020. Later, on July he announced the news of a second pregnancy, receiving congratulations from many people.
