Comedian-turned-YouTuber Im Lara confessed she endured extreme pain after giving birth to twins to the extent she was given an analgesic containing fentanyl.
On the afternoon of the 2nd, a video titled 'Unbearable C-section pain… the first meeting with my babies' was posted on the YouTube channel 'enjoycouple'.
Im Lara, who had an emergency transfusion because of excessive bleeding during the cesarean section, remained slow to recover into the next day, raising concerns. While eating, she said I lost so much blood that I had a transfusion yesterday. Even after the transfusion my (blood) levels didn't rise at all. I'm still dizzy, complaining of anemia symptoms and dizziness.
Im Lara went on to describe the level of pain after the cesarean and revealed that the painkiller she received contained fentanyl. This is a powerful ingredient classified as an opioid analgesic.
Im Lara said, How painful must this (cesarean) be if this is the only thing that can reduce it. It's for medical treatment, implying how extreme the pain mothers endure can be.
Im Lara confessed, This was truly the hardest thing I've ever experienced in my life, as she went through the whole process. But she soon recalled her twin babies and conveyed a message of gratitude and hope.
Im Lara said, But they're so pretty that I feel like it's all been rewarded, expressing overwhelming happiness that overshadowed the pain of childbirth.
