'In 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3', Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube enjoyed an autumn food trip in Boryung with Lee Jung-eun and Jung Ryeo-won.'
In the third episode of MBN's variety show 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3', which aired on the 31st of last month, Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) enjoyed food in Boryung, the "64th street", with "10-million viewer" actress Lee Jung-eun and "national ex-girlfriend" Jung Ryeo-won. They stimulated viewers' senses with a food trip that ranged from a 37-year tradition ox head soup restaurant to a muk restaurant run by the third generation, and they sampled seasonal foods such as large prawns and gizzard shad.
That day in Boryung, Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube met their "eating friends" Lee Jung-eun and Jung Ryeo-won and headed to an ox head soup restaurant. After Lee Jung-eun's gentle persuasion quickly secured them, the four took their seats, and Lee Jung-eun mentioned an ox head soup restaurant that used to be next to the well in Wangsimni. Jun Hyun-moo happily responded, "I know it too!" but Lee Jung-eun, surprised, asked, "How far apart do you think our ages are.. Aren't you in your late 30s?" Then Jun Hyun-moo, saying, "Was I this youthful?~," struck a pose of self-confidence that drew an annoyed look from KwakTube.
Amid laughter, Jun Hyun-moo mentioned actress Yum Hye-ran, who has solidified her status by appearing in works like "When Life Gives You Tangerines," and asked, "Don't you feel any sense of rivalry?" Lee Jung-eun surprised everyone with an honest reply, "Maybe I do~." At the same time she said, "When the same role comes up, there are times I want to do it too. But if a certain actor comes to mind for that role, I feel it would be a better fit for that actor, so I don't take it," revealing an actor's sincere sentiment that moved everyone. When the ox head soup was served, Jun Hyun-moo and Lee Jung-eun, meeting soulmates of the 'pure-hearted' type, enjoyed a happy mukbang, and Jung Ryeo-won finished her meal neatly by mixing rice into the soup.
On the way to the next course, the conversation turned to hobbies. Jung Ryeo-won, who is genuinely active as a painter, searched for works by "Muskia (Jun Hyun-moo's painter alter ego)" and praised them genuinely, saying, "You use color really well," drawing attention. Shortly after, the four arrived at a muk restaurant in Boryung and, saying, "Let's try all the types of muk," intensified their mukbang. After ordering, Jun Hyun-moo asked Lee Jung-eun, who has "34 years of acting experience," "You've done theater for a long time, right?" Lee Jung-eun revealed, "I did it for a long time. Back then I earned 200,000 won a year," surprising viewers with her theater actor-era salary. She also confessed, "(I worked part-time) at restaurants when I was a theater actor, so I'm more comfortable talking with (restaurant) moms," and Jun Hyun-moo admired, "So that's why your everyday acting is so natural."
Immediately after, courses of soy sauce muk, seasoned muk, and muk jeon were laid out and the mukbang was in full swing when Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Are neither of you lonely?" Jung Ryeo-won answered, "I'm lonely. But I like it. That's the feeling," and explained, "They say if loneliness comes at the end you look for someone. If loneliness comes at the front it's the truth but not a priority." Jun Hyun-moo praised, "That's a complete aphorism. You could publish an essay collection," expressing admiration. Meanwhile, when the conversation turned to acting, Jung Ryeo-won said, "When I did this project I told the writer, 'If Lee Jung-eun sunbae appears, I'll definitely do it.' I really wanted to work together. Earlier, Han Ji-min and others who acted with her gave her real praise," not forgetting to lavish praise on Lee Jung-eun's acting skills.
After wrapping up the warmhearted mukbang with Lee Jung-eun and Jung Ryeo-won, Jun Hyun-moo headed with KwakTube to a large prawn and gizzard shad restaurant, saying, "Seasonal food beats the chef." The two first enjoyed a large prawn the owner had caught himself as sashimi. But Jun Hyun-moo, who is usually afraid of raw creatures, reacted vividly with "oh man~" at the popping sound of the prawns, and when a prawn he was peeling moved slightly he panicked and ran away, causing laughter. By contrast, KwakTube stuffed a mouthful of prawn sashimi in and exclaimed, "This is the best. The chew is different," expressing bliss. The two then "all-killed" with grilled gizzard shad, prawn soup, and butter-grilled prawn heads.
As the food trip that fully experienced Boryung's autumn flavors came to an end, Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube will visit Asan, Chungnam, the "65th street" and the "city where all flavors gather," in a broadcast scheduled for Friday the 7th at 9:10 p.m.
