Girl group SISTAR member Soyou revealed side effects after succeeding in a diet.
Soyou released a video on her personal YouTube channel "Soyou-gi" on Oct. 30 titled "Why did I buy this..?" — a compilation of Soyou's collected items filmed because the production staff were curious. In the video, Soyou introduced various luxury and vintage items she had purchased through past shopping.
Among them, Soyou confessed, "There's something annoying about losing weight. The sizes don't fit." In fact, Soyou recently drew attention for a dramatic change in appearance after successfully losing 10kg. When plastic surgery rumors arose because of this, Soyou ended the speculation by showing her bare face and saying the difference was due to makeup.
Soyou lamented, "What I used to wear as a pinky ring now fits on my fourth finger because I lost weight." She then introduced luxury rings she bought during trips to Spain, Paris and other parts of Europe, saying, "I lost so much weight that some even fit on my thumb. Lately I can't wear anything." She expressed regret about bold accessories, saying, "When I had a bit of a tan, gold suited me better than silver, so I bought them. This one was also a pinky ring, but after losing weight it only goes on if I force it onto my fourth finger."
She also said, "Personally, before doing a month-long stay in another country, I would buy myself a luxury item once a year as a gift. Now I just don't buy and travel instead. Even normally I buy only muted colors, so I buy bright ones only once in a while."
