'HYBE global group' &TEAM(Anteam) dominated the stage of a domestic music show with an intense performance.
&TEAM(Uiju, Huma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki) performed the Korean mini-album lead track 'Back to Life' on KBS2 MUSIC BANK, which aired on the 31st of last month.
As it was their first music show appearance in Korea since their official debut in the K-pop home base, it was a stage that attracted worldwide fan attention, and &TEAM fully showcased their true colors.
When the rough and majestic rock-hip-hop beat rang out, their explosive energy immediately filled the stage. The nine members' powerful yet precise group choreography delivered an overwhelming sense of immersion that drew viewers in.
The performance visually realized the song's theme of "revived instincts." &TEAM unfolded a narrative of pain, growth and rebirth like a drama. In particular, the finale choreography in which the nine members interlocked their arms and bodies to form a single shape symbolically expressed the team's unity and left a lasting impression.
&TEAM will follow MUSIC BANK with MBC Show! Music Core on the 1st and SBS Inkigayo on the 2nd. Fans have high expectations for them as they boast enhanced stage capabilities after a recently concluded successful Asia tour.
&TEAM's Korean mini-album Back to Life sold more than 1.13 million copies on its first day of release (Oct. 28) alone, according to Hanteo Chart. With this, they set a new record as the first Japanese artist to become a million-seller in both Korea and Japan.
Not only the title track but all six songs on the album— the upbeat "Lunatic," the lovelorn confession "MISMATCH," the driving vocals of "Rush," the emotional rock ballad "Heartbreak Time Machine," and the delicate sentiment of "Who am I"— are being evenly loved.
