The group CORTIS entered the Melon monthly chart for the first time. Among boy groups that debuted in 2025, CORTIS is the only team to enter that chart.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho)'s debut album intro track "GO!" ranked 94th on Melon's October monthly chart. Even though official promotions ended a month ago, steady popularity pushed it onto the monthly chart.
A challenge of dancing to the forward-moving choreography of "GO!" went viral on social media, leading to the song's long-running popularity. On the global short-form video platform TikTok, videos using the song reached 154,300 as of 3 p.m. on the 1st. The song also surpassed 50 million cumulative streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, as of the 30th of last month, proving global interest.
"GO!" is a track on which all members participated in lyric writing, composing, and choreography production. It grabs attention immediately by adding intense synthesizer sounds to a minimal trap rhythm. Lyrics such as "bring the new hit" and "we don't need another sign" convey a bold ambition to color the world in CORTIS's style.
CORTIS has firmly stamped its presence by sweeping debut-first, most, and No. 1 records as soon as it appeared in the music scene. Their debut album "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify as of Oct. 12. This is the fastest achievement among rookies who debuted this year.
The album ranks No. 1 in first-week sales (based on release date) on Hanteo Chart among rookie albums released in 2025. It also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 15 (Sept. 27), marking the highest debut album ranking for a K-pop group excluding project teams. In addition, they proved overwhelming popularity across metrics, including having the most followers this year among rookies on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
