Actress Jang Hye-jin said she gained 20kg during Parasite.
On the 1st episode of MBC's Omniscient Interfering View (hereafter Omniscient Interfering View), Roy Kim and Jang Hye-jin appeared as guests.
After finishing her morning cleaning, Jang Hye-jin ate a healthy meal. The panelists said she is now very thin and asked whether she intentionally gained weight for Parasite.
Jang Hye-jin said, "I ate six meals a day and gained weight. Director Bong Joon-ho said he hoped I would gain weight."
She continued, "Originally I was 57kg. I gained 20kg. Losing it came off rather quickly. (But) in the next work they said, 'We didn't expect you to be this slim,' so I gained weight again."
