BOYNEXTDOOR reached a two-show win on music programs.
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myeong Jaehyeon, Taesan, I Han, Unhak) took first place on KBS2's MUSIC BANK broadcast on Oct. 31 with the title track "Hollywood Action" from their fifth mini album The Action. Following their win on MBC M's Show! Champion on the 29th of last month, they achieved a double crown with MUSIC BANK and embarked on full-scale trophy hunting.
The six members, filled with emotion, expressed gratitude, saying, "We sincerely thank ONEDOOR (fan club name) for making it possible for us to be No. 1. 'Hollywood Action' is a song that expresses confident pride like a Hollywood star, and the source of our confidence is ONEDOOR. We will continue working hard to be BOYNEXTDOOR who gives their best." On the encore stage that followed, they delivered a performance that highlighted solid vocal power.
After the broadcast, BOYNEXTDOOR posted on the global superfans platform Weverse, "As you have given us such a precious award, we will do even better for the remainder of our promotion. Thank you for liking our music. We will always grow and remain humble as artists," expressing their gratitude once again.
BOYNEXTDOOR is enjoying success across various charts with The Action. The new release held the top spot on Apple Music Korea's Top Albums for a week after its release (Oct. 21–27), and ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart (tracking period: Oct. 20–26) and Circle Chart's latest weekly album chart (tracking period: Oct. 19–25). Following a No. 2 on Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales (tracking period: Oct. 20–26), it also ranked No. 2 on Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Album Ranking for the same tracking period, demonstrating strong popularity.
The title track "Hollywood Action" is being loved on domestic and international music charts. In addition to ranking No. 4 on Circle Chart's latest weekly download chart, it placed No. 7 on Apple Music Korea's Top 100 for Oct. 30, No. 14 on Spotify Korea's Daily Top Songs, and No. 19 on Melon daily chart. It entered QQ Music's new song chart, China's largest music streaming platform, on Oct. 21, the day after release, and remained on the chart through Oct. 31, enjoying long-running popularity. On Japan's major music site Line Music, it ranked No. 6 on the Weekly Song Top 100 (tracking period Oct. 22–28), reflecting keen interest in BOYNEXTDOOR.
BOYNEXTDOOR is scheduled to appear on MBC's Show! Music Core on Nov. 1 and SBS's Inkigayo on Nov. 2 to perform "Hollywood Action."
