'Love that falls off well' Kim Jong-kook got so absorbed he snapped.
On Nov. 5 at 10 p.m., TV CHOSUN's 'Love that falls off well' will air its first episode. 'Love that falls off well' is a love-diet project with my future man or my future woman, like an unscratched lottery ticket. Muscle man Kim Jong-kook, perfect even in love; delightful empathy fairy Lee Su-ji; and diet mate Yui will appear as the three MCs, and the show is generating buzz even before its premiere by previewing a high-end diet romance program that will make you lose weight and fall in love.
On 'Love that falls off well,' participants bound by desperation live together to exercise and cultivate feelings of love. In the process, participants act remarkably boldly to win love, promising viewers an intense level of immersion. In fact, the MCs' emotions reportedly swung like a roller coaster watching participants change day by day both externally and internally.
Regarding this, Kim Jong-kook said, "I think I became deeply absorbed in the process of someone who didn't expect much from love falling in love, getting hurt and then getting back up. It was surprising that they used love as motivation for self-improvement. I think many people will empathize with this." He also explained why he sometimes snapped from overinvolvement in the participants' remarks: "Because many of them don't have much dating experience, they sometimes miss key points, which was regrettable and frustrating."
While Kim Jong-kook snapped, Lee Su-ji empathized and even made uncanny predictions. Lee Su-ji said, "There must have been many moments when they wanted to give up, but I was moved by the participants who kept their promises to themselves and learned to love themselves. After finding themselves again, their feelings about dating changed. Watching them, I felt, 'I went through that, too.'" About reports among production staff that she predicted things so well they speculated about a 'file leak,' she said with a laugh, "I'm someone who's good at dating. I'm a dating success. Through many experiences, I think I was able to read the participants' minds."
Yui empathized deeply with the female participants' feelings and sometimes analyzed them coolly, earning her the reputation among production staff as a 'women's mind expert.' About this, Yui explained, "From my idol days to now, I've tried many strict diets. Even if you start with strong resolve, there are moments when you want to give up. Having experienced that myself, I could understand the participants' feelings better than anyone, so honest feelings came out. If I sounded cold, I apologize. As a fellow woman, I sincerely wanted them to succeed even more."
