An interview in "Baedalwassuda" in which Lee Young-ja says she is satisfied with her current life is drawing attention.
On the 29th, the KBS2 entertainment show "Baedalwassuda" aired with actor Park Young-gyu, comedian Yoon Jung-soo, and Professor Lee Ho-seon grants to hold an honest conversation on the theme of "marriage and life".
On that day, MC Lee Young-ja said, "Since I was young I have always lived like the head of the family. With a parent's heart I took care of my younger siblings' weddings," and added, "Now I want to live for myself, not for someone else," she confessed frankly.
She continued, "Even though I say I want to live for myself, I seem to have forgotten what I actually liked," and added, "I hear a lot of people say meet someone good, but now I don't want to let anyone into my life. I think I lived for others for far too long." Kim Sook, who appeared with her, deeply agreed and nodded at Lee Young-ja's composed confession.
Lee Young-ja timidly asked Professor Lee Ho-seon, "Is this way of thinking of mine okay?" In response, Professor Lee Ho-seon said, "Everyone has a theme in life," and analyzed, "Lee Young-ja has lived in the role of a 'guardian' until now. That role is now over, and so she is afraid that if someone new comes in she will become a guardian again."
Meanwhile, Lee Young-ja previously drew attention by teaming up with actor Hwang Dong-joo on KBS2 "Pursuing Old Encounters." The two became a final couple at the time, but were later reported to be going their separate ways. Also, on tvN STORY "Young-ja and Seri's What to Do After Leaving," she confessed that she once went as far as almost getting married, drawing viewers' attention.
Among these, Lee Young-ja's confession, "After a time of living for someone else, now I want to find a life for myself," left deep sympathy among many viewers.
