On the 30th, MBC's Rescue Me! Homes (directed by Jung Da-hee, Nam Yoo-jung, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Seong-nyeon, hereafter Homes) aired, featuring actors Yoo In-young and Kim Dae-ho embarking on a freewheeling site visit in search of a "house without an address."
That episode was framed as a site visit for a "house without an address." It was an unusual site visit in which free spirits who want to live at a different address every day, thinking every place they set foot is their home, set out to find their own address, and broadcaster Kim Dae-ho and actor Yoo In-young joined together.
The duo's first stop was the House On Wheels, the wheeled home "Sookka." "With a black car and wheels, you can live anywhere!" Borrowing comedian Kim Sook's campervan, Kim Dae-ho and Yoo In-young enjoyed the campervan site visit before officially beginning their inspections. The intimate campervan visit between the two people of the same age drew attention as Kim Dae-ho's face flushed pink.
Their next stop in search of a "house without an address" was a 70-year-old abandoned house located in Bongam-ri, Paju-eup, Paju. The detached house showed signs of age, with a sarangchae (guest wing) completed in 1955 connected to the main house completed in 1970. The two toured the sarangchae, where traces of the previous owner remained intact, and the relatively cleaner(?) main house, sharing various interior design ideas.
They also inspected the former U.S. military club and inn in the village where addresses had disappeared. Once called the "Texas of Korea," it was a former U.S. military base town that fell into decline after the transfer of U.S. military bases in the 1980s. The pair inspected an abandoned inn that had been closed for more than 10 years. The hotel-style inn with a large garden featured generously sized rooms and European-style interiors, and the adjacent building still bore traces of the club that flourished during the time U.S. troops were stationed there.
Meanwhile, another site-visit mate for the "house without an address" was Oji Bro, a 17-year veteran of bivouacking and a byword for outdoor sleeping. As a professional survivalist who makes wherever he sets foot under the sky his address for the day, he climbed Unjangsan in Jinan County, North Jeolla Province. He caught attention by setting up a cozy sleeping spot on a mountaintop rock crevice with only a waterproof tarp and branches. Through a very special bivouac, viewers could enjoy Unjangsan's beautiful sunset and sunrise.
Next, they inspected a house without an address floating on the opposite side of the globe. Travel creator Mochilero, who has been traveling the world for 15 years while living on a yacht, appeared. He said he changes his address every day on the waters on the other side of the globe and introduced the yacht he purchased by investing his entire fortune. Arriving at Methoni in Greece, he was shown using a small auxiliary boat to go back and forth to the village, revealing his free life on the yacht and drawing attention.
