Typhoon Family actor Kim Min-ha praised co-star Lee Jun-ho's performance doing his own stunt.
On the 30th, the tvN DRAMA channel uploaded a video titled "Typhoon Family commentary for episodes 5-6."
Episodes 5-6, which aired last week, depicted a scene testing Shoebox's safety shoes, and company president Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Jun-ho) filmed a safety shoe test video with employee Oh Mi-seon (played by Kim Min-ha) and others. Kang Tae-poong demonstrated the shoes' safety by walking on glass and fire while wearing them.
Lee Jun-ho revealed behind the scenes, saying, "The director was very worried about this too, but I thought if I didn't do it myself it would take too long. So I said, 'I'll just do it all,'"
Kim Min-ha, who thought it was a stunt double, was surprised and asked, "Is that oppa?" Lee Jun-ho explained, "I did it all. I asked, 'Can I go around?' and then I spun (around). So at that time we saved a lot of time and filmed quickly, quickly," saying he did all the filming himself without a stunt double.
Kim Min-ha praised him, saying, "Isn't he amazing? He really uses his body well. Of course he's great at dancing, but beyond being good at those dances, he really uses his body well in acting too. For example, as you've probably seen a lot, even when he pretends to fall I thought it was real and I screamed a lot. He uses his body so well, not only when running but really uses his body well, so I'm amazed every day during filming."
Lee Jun-ho boasted of their flawless chemistry, saying, "What's funny is that because I use my body so well, when I fall it looks like I'm really falling and Kim Min-ha is surprised and goes 'oh.' Then I think that 'oh!' is real acting too and think, 'there must be a reason for that,' and I act again. But both of those are so natural. It comes out on screen so entertainingly. Those kinds of scenes,"
