Earlier, his agency, Peak J Entertainment, had issued an official statement in March saying, "Kim Do-hoon suffered a left forearm fracture while practicing motorcycle driving on set, and after surgery he is hospitalized and recovering."
The accident occurred while practicing ahead of a bike scene in the drama. Kim Do-hoon said, "I originally knew how to ride a motorcycle and had always conducted shoots safely, so this was something I couldn't have imagined," and added, "I am now receiving treatment and am much recovered."
Earlier, medical staff had diagnosed the injury as requiring 24 weeks of treatment.
