Group NCT's Doyoung and Jungwoo will enlist as active-duty soldiers in the army in December.
NCT's agency SM Entertainment said on the 30th "NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo will begin fulfilling their military service obligations starting in December."
The agency explained, "Doyoung will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the army on Dec. 8, and Jungwoo received notification of acceptance to the army band and is scheduled to enlist on Dec. 8."
It added, "No separate event will be held on the day of entry, and because it is a setting where many military personnel and family members will be together, we ask fans to refrain from visiting the site for safety."
Finally, it said, "We ask for your continued love and support so that Doyoung and Jungwoo can faithfully fulfill their military service obligations and return in even healthier condition."
With this, Doyoung and Jungwoo became the third among NCT members to fulfill their national defense duties. Previously, Taeyong enlisted in April last year and is serving as a navy band member, and Jaehyun enlisted in November of the same year and is fulfilling his military service in the army band.
