Singer Wonho (WONHO) spoiled the new album's tracks a day before his comeback.
His agency, HybeLine Entertainment, on the 29th at 8 p.m. released a Highlight medley for Wonho's first full-length album, "Syndrome (SYNDROME)," on its official YouTube channel.
The released video played brief audio segments in sequence that reveal the mood of each track on "Syndrome," eliciting an explosive response from global fans.
The title track "If You Wanna (if you wanna)," as well as "Fun (Fun)," "DND (DND)," "Scissors (Scissors)," "At The Time (At The Time)," "Beautiful (Beautiful)," "On Top Of The World (On Top Of The World)," "Maniac (Maniac)," the first pre-release single "Better Than Me (Better Than Me)," and the second pre-release single "Good Liar (Good Liar)" — new songs imbued with Wonho's musical color and sensibility — truly struck fans' hearts.
Alongside this, footage showing Wonho participating in various shoots for "Syndrome" played, captivating both the eyes and ears. The video's vivid colors, created by applying inversion effects to the hues, enhanced the mysterious and dreamy mood, heightening anticipation for the comeback a day away to a peak.
"Syndrome" is Wonho's first full-length album since his solo debut about 5 years and 2 months ago, concentrating intense interest from global fans. Wonho raised expectations by previewing the sophisticated and sensuous mood of the first full-length album through two pre-release singles: "Better Than Me" in June and "Good Liar" on the 3rd of this month.
"If You Wanna" is a pop R&B track carrying a straightforward message of "if you want to, let's get closer now," with Wonho participating directly in composition and arrangement to showcase his solid musical capabilities. Elastic bass, tight drums, and spacious synths create a minimal groove, and Wonho's flexible vocals vividly convey the flamboyant city's night and the burning heat within it.
