Seosajang SSJ (singer Seo Yoon) will release the digital single "Chonggyeong Banjeom," noted for its socially satirical lyrics, this November. It comes one year after the April 3 release last year of "At Riverside Station," a collaboration with Shinbaram Lee Bak-sa.
"Chonggyeong Banjeom" is a dance track at BPM 145, featuring synth sounds popular in the 1990s with an exciting, fast rhythm. Seosajang released songs that satirized assorted events in society, beginning in 2016 with the ballad "Just One Drink" with Wax, followed by "A Good World" with political entertainer Heo Kyung-young and "At Riverside Station" with Shinbaram Lee Bak-sa. This digital single "Chonggyeong Banjeom" also takes as subjects the late Seoul National University student martyr Park Jong-cheol, who died under torture at Namyeong-dong during the 1980 democratization movement, and incidents related to the late actor Lee Seon-gyun.
Included on Seosajang SSJ's digital single, to be released in November, besides "Chonggyeong Banjeom" is an EDM remix version of "At Riverside Station," created with Shinbaram Lee Bak-sa.
