Mirage confessed that his gold investment has hit a crisis.
On the 29th, a new video was posted on the YouTube channel "Mwo-deun-ha-gi-ru" titled "Tearing into a turbulent update while eating chicken at the night market."
That day Mirage opened by saying, "What should I talk about," and a staff member asked, "Gold prices have been falling lately; are you okay?" Mirage said he bought a lot of gold during the Chuseok holidays.
Earlier, Kim Gu-ra confessed that he had invested 100 million won in gold on his wife's recommendation and that it recently rose to 340 million won, drawing attention.
Mirage said, "I'm not okay. I was excited that day and talked about it at Mangwon Market, and after that I bought gold here and there. When I said I'd just do Bitcoin, people around me tried to stop me. I even downloaded all the gold-related apps," and added, "I bought a little bit of gold at a time. Because I bought at 690,000 won and now it's 800,000 won. I also bought in between those prices."
Mirage explained why he started investing in gold: "Anyway, today is the cheapest. I thought how happy I'll feel tomorrow, and I've never invested in my life except Bitcoin, but with gold you can at least hold the physical asset. I opened gold accounts too."
He continued, "830,000 won was the most expensive. I bought a lot then, to the point of burdening my assets. Because I didn't have money to spend right away, I bought thinking I could sell it in a week. But the next day it went down like this (↘). So I wondered if I had seen something wrong or if something had happened in the country, but the more that happened, the more I thought you should buy."
Mirage lamented, "Now it's in the 700,000s, and when it went up to 830,000 won I hesitated. I have the price I bought at, so thinking this is how investment should be, I made the full purchase I could. But now it's a disaster. I bought on the highest day, and from the next day it kept falling."
He added, "On YouTube people called those who don't buy gold ignorant. When gold was at 800,000 or 900,000 won they insisted on buying no matter what, but when the price fell they said it carried risk. The same people suddenly changed their stance and I felt so betrayed. So anyway, it's irreversible. I think it's better not to invest, everyone."
