The group Ahop (AHOF) unveiled the Highlight of the full album's tracks for the first time.
At 12 a.m. on the 30th, Ahop (AHOF·Steven, Seo Jeong-woo, Cha Ung-gi, Jang Shuai-bo, Park Han, JL, Park Joo-won, Zhu An, Daisuke) presented the highlight medley of their second mini album 'The Passage(더 패시지)' on their official SNS channels.
According to the released video, the title track of 'The Passage' is 'Pinocchio hates lies'. Leading with this are five solidly included tracks: 'Ahop, the beginning of the shining number (Intro)', 'Run at 1.5x speed', fan song 'So I won't lose you again', and 'Sleeping diary (Outro)'.
The title track 'Pinocchio hates lies' is a band-sound song inspired by the fairytale 'Pinocchio'. It is a song that expresses Ahop's sensibility about wanting to be honest only with 'you' amid caprice, anxiety and wavering.
For this album, Ahop once again collaborated with producer EL CAPITXN, who worked with them on their previous release. The members' participation, more active than on their debut album, stands out. Steven participated in writing 'Ahop, the beginning of the shining number (Intro)' and 'So I won't lose you again', and Cha Ung-gi and Park Han took part in writing 'So I won't lose you again', conveying sincere feelings.
Ahop's music is characterized by track lists composed with an intro and an outro. Through song arrangements that continue as a single flow, the members have completed their own story. In 'The Passage' as well, they used the intro and outro to express Ahop's complex emotional line experiencing inner growing pains.
In particular, the final track of mini 1, 'WHO WE ARE(후 위 아)', titled 'Ahop, we are the shining number (Outro),' was rearranged and reborn as the intro of 'The Passage'. Ahop's story, which connects organically with the previous work, greatly raises expectations for the new release.
The mini 2 album 'The Passage', set for release on Nov. 4, is an album in which Ahop's youth narrative expands one step further. Ahop projects themselves onto Pinocchio to portray the process of growing from boys into adults. The members share a 'rough youth' narrative of directly confronting and wavering at the boundary between boy and adult and becoming stronger.
In July, Ahop left meaningful achievements such as three music show wins and appearances on domestic and international music charts with their debut title track 'Let's meet again there (Rendezvous)'. Attention is focused on what records they will set with the music they will newly show.
