Yoon Tae-hwa appeared on "The Birth of Workers Season 2" and showed her all-around charm.
On the 29th broadcast of KBS1 "The Birth of Workers Season 2," the second story of the workers who went to Yemi 3-ri village in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province unfolded. On that day, because there were many households in need of help, they decided to stay one more day; the reinforcements who appeared in place of Ahn Seong-hoon, who could not join due to scheduling, were Yoon Tae-hwa and Shin Sung. Making her first appearance as a worker, Yoon Tae-hwa said, "I will think of the elders as my mother and work hard," conveying her energetic determination.
At Yoon Tae-hwa's appearance, Son Heon-su could not hide his surprise, saying, "It feels like a real celebrity." Son Heon-su, who showed how much he loves trot by appearing on TV CHOSUN "Mr. Trot 2," praised Yoon Tae-hwa's skill, saying, "She has the voice I've long dreamed of." In response, Kim Min-kyung had Yoon Tae-hwa sing in place of Son Heon-su, who was lip-syncing behind him, drawing laughter from viewers.
At the first house they found following the village chief's guidance, the workers decided to repaint the wallpaper that was covered in mold. Before moving the refrigerator, Yoon Tae-hwa said, "I should put tape on it," and found box tape herself to firmly secure the refrigerator door. Yoon Tae-hwa, who said, "I lived alone for a long time," explained the secret to her resourcefulness: "My mother raised me alone. So I acted as a father, too. I did things like hammering nails and fixing the sink by myself."
When they had to peel off mold-covered wallpaper without any tools, Yoon Tae-hwa demonstrated quick thinking by finding flat stones nearby. The sight of everyone holding stones and starting the removal work evoked a 21st-century Neolithic scene. Then Yoon Tae-hwa stood out for her meticulous work from cutting the adhesive film to applying glue, showing a capable side different from her glamorous stage appearance.
Even so, she became amusingly careless as she was so absorbed in the repair work that she forgot she was wearing a mask and said, "Strangely, I'm out of breath and tired." With an embarrassed laugh saying, "I totally forgot," Yoon Tae-hwa finished the repair work meticulously until the end and sweetly enjoyed the delicious misutgaru the elder served. She also did not forget to send affection to the elder with a hand heart.
At the second house lived an elder who had recently developed dementia symptoms over the past half year and had become uncomfortable moving. Hearing the story, Yoon Tae-hwa said, "My mother collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage and was recently diagnosed with dementia. She has improved a lot, but she really needs safety bars. If she keeps moving, her health will get better," and came up with the idea to install safety bars throughout the house for the elder who had difficulty moving.
The workers joined forces and securely installed the safety bars. Yoon Tae-hwa's active performance-filled KBS1 "The Birth of Workers Season 2" can be watched again on the website.
