Tonight (30th) at 9:50 p.m. KST, Mnet's Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-pop Princess (hereafter "Hip-pop Princess") episode 3 will take the first step toward the second-track competition, the "Producer new song mission," in which producers' new songs are at stake. The contestants' fierce rap battles and unpredictable matchups are expected to combine to open a new phase.
The first gate to the second track is the "1 vs 1 created battle," where two people face off in a 1:1 rap performance battle and only the winner receives a benefit. In addition, this mission will select both the "best created battle" and the "worst created battle," promising another twist. In particular, the winner of the best team will receive a double benefit, and the loser will also be granted a benefit. Variables that directly affect team composition that follows will appear beyond simple wins and losses, further heightening the tension.
Who you team up with in the 1 vs 1 created battle is also crucial. In the episode 3 preview video, the process of participants choosing and being chosen for teams is revealed and draws attention. Nam Yu-ju, who appeared on four survival shows and missed debut opportunities, makes a critical rap mistake due to Kokoro's provocation, and is later seen backstage crying, "Was I destined not to make it?", which draws attention.
The lineup of trainers judging the 1 vs 1 created battle has also been unveiled. Mac Daddy, Q.M, and Sins, who showed outstanding rap skills in the Show Me the Money series, and Capri and Bessy, who delivered powerful moves with Lady Bounce on Street Woman Fighter 2, are on the lineup.
