HYBE and Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE has once again improved its best performance on the U.S. Billboard main song chart.
According to the latest Billboard chart (Nov. 1) released on the 28th (local time), KATSEYE's second EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" track "Gabriela" ranked 40 on this week's Hot 100. This is one spot higher than the previous week and the second consecutive week at its peak.
Their other hit "Gnarly" also ranked 97 on the Hot 100, marking its 11th cumulative week on the chart. Considering that both songs were released four months and six months ago respectively, this is an impressive late surge. Their overwhelming performance stages, including Lollapalooza Chicago, have continued to spread by word of mouth, sustaining the reverse-charting momentum.
KATSEYE's entire album is showing solid popularity indicators. Their EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" sits at 34 on the main album chart Billboard 200, continuing a 17-week streak on the chart. It is encouraging that this album, which previously reached No. 4 on that chart (July 12), has maintained a steady position despite being released nearly four months ago.
"BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" is also holding strong in charts that tally physical album sales. It landed at 13 on Billboard's Top Album Sales (17 weeks cumulative) and 11 on Top Current Album Sales (17 weeks cumulative). Notably, their first EP released in August last year, SIS (Soft Is Strong), is also charting, reaching 42 on Top Album Sales and 33 on Top Current Album Sales.
KATSEYE's momentum is also strong on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart (radio airplay points), which reflects their public recognition in the U.S. "Gabriela" rose to 18. It has shown steady ascent for 12 consecutive weeks since first entering in mid-August (No. 37).
KATSEYE not only charted on Billboard but also set a team record by placing "Gabriela" at 38 on the U.K. Official Singles Top 100 (Oct. 17–23). Additionally, on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global (Oct. 17–23), three songs—"Gabriela" (17), "Gnarly" (119), and "Touch" (179)—simultaneously appeared, proving KATSEYE's global popularity and staying power.
KATSEYE, born under Bang Si-hyuk's "K-pop methodology," was selected through the global audition project The Debut: Dream Academy, which involved 120,000 participants worldwide. They later debuted in the U.S. after undergoing HYBE America's systematic training and development (T&D) system.
They will begin their first solo tour "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," spanning 16 shows in 13 North American cities, starting Nov. 15. In April next year, they will also perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the world's largest music festival.
