Global group BTS leader RM shared a photo ahead of his APEC keynote speech.

The released photo shows RM greeting the morning in Gyeongju, where the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is being held. RM said "I remember morning runs at the training camp" as he went for a light jog, and just before the keynote speech he captured attention by sharing a photo of himself dressed in a stylish suit.
That day RM will appear as a keynote speaker at the CEO summit, a side event of the APEC leaders' meetings. He will speak for about 10 minutes from 3:05 p.m. at the Gyeongju Arts Center on the theme "Cultural creative industries in the APEC region and the soft power of K-culture."
APEC said on its website, "RM (Kim Nam-joon) shows exceptional versatility across genres. A powerhouse of creativity and an avid arts enthusiast, he is known for crafting profound lyrics inspired by voracious forms of art. His flexible and philosophical approach to music and cutting-edge collaborations give him the ability to break creative boundaries," it said.
RM is the first K-pop singer to appear as a speaker at this event. With this speech, RM is expected to showcase the influence of K-pop and the standing of K-culture to the world.
Earlier, in September 2018 RM spoke in English as a global youth representative and special speaker representing BTS at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. At the time RM delivered the message, "Tell yourself who you are, where you come from, your skin color, your sexual identity. Tell yourself to find your name and find your voice."
