'The Return of SUPERMAN' actor Shim Hyung-tak showed a surprised expression at his son Haru's growth.
On the 29th broadcast of KBS2TV variety show 'The Return of SUPERMAN' (hereinafter 'Superman Returns'), the scene showed father Shim Hyung-tak making baby food and snacks for his son Haru. In the previous episode, Haru skipped a meal because he did not take a nap. However, Shim Hyung-tak was determined that he would definitely eat Japanese cold udon and pad thai today. Haru, as always, woke up from his nap, but Shim Hyung-tak was still all smiles.
The reason he could do that was that while making snacks he saw Haru sit up by himself. Seeing Haru now able to stand up and sit by himself, Shim Hyung-tak prepared sensory play. Haru picked up and ate a very small puffed rice grain. This is good for fine motor skill development, and at about 250 days old Haru was using his fingers on his own.
Shim Hyung-tak said, "I thought Haru is growing little by little. The puffed rice is really small, but he picked it up and ate it," and added, "Eight months of parenting was not in vain," showing an overwhelmed expression.
