'Park Jang Dae-so' Park Jun-hyung and Jang Hyuk reunited with the chemistry of '30-year close friends'.
Channel S variety show 'Park Jang Dae-so' held its production presentation online from 11 a.m. on the 29th. Park Jun-hyung and Jang Hyuk, citing 30 years of friendship, promised a special chemistry.
On the day, Park Jun-hyung first spoke about appearing together on a variety show with Jang Hyuk, saying, "Actually, we could never have dreamed of this before. We never dreamed of doing a program together," and "It has become a dreamlike reality for us. When I wake up in the morning I'm very tired, but when I meet Jang Hyuk we're just machines. Once we start we have to see it through, so it's fun," he said.
Jang Hyuk also said, "Honestly, I didn't think about the content. Having lived together when we were young and shared various daily lives, when we meet there's an old feeling. Rather than thinking we're shooting now, it felt like 'I'm meeting my hyung and spending a pleasant day.' When I heard the other person was Park Jun-hyung hyung I didn't even ask," he said.
'Park Jang Dae-so' is a reality variety show in which god member Park Jun-hyung, who has been friends for 30 years, and actor Jang Hyuk accept 'calls' from clients requesting big and small favors, go directly to the scene and solve their problems.
Expectations are high because Park Jun-hyung, who wants to return versatile and quirky sense, and Jang Hyuk, who wants to be a reliable problem solver with seriousness and diligence, have joined forces. The two will also deliver laughter and emotion by directly fulfilling citizens' small wishes, physically demanding tasks and quirky requests.
In particular, Park Jun-hyung and Jang Hyuk add meaning by donating even the modest fees they receive for solving big and small requests. Jang Hyuk said, "We are donating the fees to help young people in the form of donations," he said.
The two have a bond forged over 30 years, having shared the same dorm when Park Jun-hyung was a god trainee and building a brotherlike friendship, so they understand each other with just a look. In this first program where just the two of them come together, they are expected to radiate an unpretentious, relatable 'close-friend chemistry.'
There are that many episodes. Park Jun-hyung said, "There was a time we went hungry a lot. Yoon Kye-sang's mother once made sundae soup for us. If we ate it all in one day there wouldn't be anything left to eat later, so we ate a little at a time and ate it for nine days in a week. We didn't even know it had gone bad. We got food poisoning," he revealed, drawing attention.
Park Jun-hyung also mentioned Jang Hyuk, who has been the same for 30 years. He said, "When I first met Jang Hyuk he was a boy becoming an adult, so I know him very well, and he knows me very well. He really hasn't changed. I thought he would become cooler as a world star and if a movie opened in Hollywood, but he's the same," he said, drawing laughter.
Jang Hyuk also said of Park Jun-hyung, "Personally, I don't feel like I'm working. I don't feel like we went to shoot. Rather, even when we're not shooting, the audio gets filled," adding, "I would give hyung 120 points. He's more knowledgeable than I imagined. He's worse at Korean than English. When it goes into English it's different. I think, 'So this is who this person was. I wanted to tell this story but couldn't in Korean.' He's very quick and has a broad perspective," he said.
They also named people who could join as guests to help solve problems and offer assistance. Park Jun-hyung said, "If someone I don't know at all comes, there might be 'chemistry' and it could be fun, but since we're becoming problem solvers for someone's issues, I think it would be fun if the person shares our way of thinking," and "For example, Kim Sun-a. god and Park Jin-Young are a given.
