Actor Hong Seok-cheon raised fans' concerns by signaling health problems two days in a row.
On the 28th, Hong Seok-cheon posted on his social media, "You have worked hard for a long time. Your teeth show considerable wear from so much stress," and shared a photo taken during a dental appointment. In the photo, Hong Seok-cheon had his mouth open and a tense expression, and he added the remark "I'm scared of dental treatment," candidly sharing his feelings.
A day earlier, Hong Seok-cheon had posted a photo of an IV drip with the caption "Try getting to my age. I barely held on after getting an IV," prompting fans' concern. By mentioning dental wear and accumulated fatigue and other health issues in succession, he increased worries.
Hong Seok-cheon, who debuted in 1995 through the KBS college gag festival, gained great popularity as the character 'Ppeuasong' in the sitcom "Three Men, Three Women," and in 2000 he temporarily suspended his broadcasting activities after becoming the first person in the domestic entertainment industry to come out. He later succeeded in making a comeback by appearing on various variety shows such as "Witch Hunt," "Soo-mi's Side Dishes," and "Merry Queer."
