The group Close Your Eyes (CLOSE YOUR EYES, Jeon Min-wook, Majingxiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Seong-min, Song Seung-ho, Kenshin, Seo Kyung-bae) released part of their new song's audio.
The agency Uncore on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. released a highlight medley of Close Your Eyes' third mini album 'Blackout (blackout)' on its official YouTube channel.
Through the highlight medley, partial audio of all five new songs included on Blackout — the double title tracks "X" and "SOB (with Imanbek)," as well as "Chic (CHIC)," "2.0," and "Who's Dat? (Jane Doe)" — was unveiled, eliciting an explosive response from global fans.
In addition, rapidly changing 3D graphic visuals played with each song, captivating both eyes and ears at the same time. The highlight medley, which combined new music that proves Close Your Eyes' boundless musical spectrum with stylish and flashy visuals, heightened anticipation for the new album.
Close Your Eyes will pre-release the music video for one of the double title tracks, "SOB (with Imanbek)," on Oct. 30 to further raise comeback excitement.
"SOB" draws even more attention by featuring Kazakh DJ Imanbek, who has a Grammy Awards win. The song powerfully expresses provocative confidence — the line "you will cry because you want to be like me" — using the word "SOB," which means to cry, and as Imanbek's first K-pop collaboration, it is drawing intense interest from global fans.
In addition, the other title track "X" is expected to draw attention as leader Jeon Min-wook directly participated in writing the lyrics, demonstrating musical capabilities honed over a long period.
Close Your Eyes' third mini album 'Blackout' will be released on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. on various music streaming sites.
