On the 30th, MBC's 'Save Me! Homes' (directed by Jung Da-hee, Nam Yoo-jeong, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Seong-nyeon, hereafter "Homes") will air an episode in which actors Yoo In-young and Kim Dae-ho set off on a freewheeling site visit in search of an "addressless house".
Recently, the meaning of a house has been highlighted more as an asset than as a residence or a shelter. Also, as price tags become automatically attached to neighborhood names, the meaning of houses is fading as they turn into a means of display. Accordingly, on "Homes" they set out to find addressless houses dreaming of a life free from addresses. This site visit is joined by free-spirited Kim Dae-ho and actor Yoo In-young.
Before the full site visit, Yang Se-hyung asked Yoo In-young, who appeared in the studio, "You have mainly played glamorous roles in dramas. What is your real personality like?" To this, Yoo In-young said, "Because I have played strong-willed roles, many people mistakenly think I am like that in real life. But I'm not at all. On the contrary, acting has allowed me to experience being a strong-willed person."
Yoo In-young, who said she visits houses whenever she gets a chance, surprised everyone by saying, "When choosing a house, although properties with appealing exteriors are nice, I also look into properties acquired through auctions or public sales." She added when asked what kind of house she would like to live in, "I'm currently interested in country houses, but I'm also very interested in older homes, so I'm looking into them. While setting off on this site visit, I toured houses with the thought, 'If it's okay, I'll buy it~.'"
Yoo In-young also revealed an unusual connection with Park Na-rae that drew attention. She confessed, "There was a house I really wanted to buy. After it was listed on an auction site, I kept watching it, and one day the owner's name appeared as Park Na-rae! Through a program featuring Park Na-rae, I got a vicarious experience of the reality of a detached house."
Kim Dae-ho said, "'Address hoppers' who move around without owning a residence are on the rise," and added, "A camper van is a movable home that can change addresses daily. Today I'll wander like a gypsy and enjoy the romance," expressing his determination for the site visit as he borrowed team leader Kim Sook's personal camper van. Kim Sook reportedly watched with a piercing gaze and joked, "If even a scratch appears, I'll send a certified letter," eliciting laughter.
