Actress Lee Chae-young made a cryptic remark.
Lee Chae-young said on the 26th, "I'm sorry I can't always remain a good person. When the music stops and the curtain falls, I'll let myself cry then."
She added, "So that the shot of soju I drink afterward will taste a little sweeter. I'm always grateful."
Earlier, in December 2022, Lee Chae-young posted, "To be honest, 2022 was the worst year in my 36 years of life in terms of luck, which didn't follow me even 0.01%. The kinds of pain I felt that I had never experienced before while living, the experiences of general hospitals, the scars left on my body by those traces that will never be erased for the rest of my life. An almost unbelievable sense of injustice, I learned too much about human variety and conflicting interests that I had never experienced. Looking back, strangely, in such hard times I remember a lot the precious people who ate with me as if it was nothing, comforted me, loved me, trusted me, and gave me opportunities as the year drew to a close."
In February, she said she took a long break and left a program because of her health problems. At the time she confessed, "I pushed myself too hard with work in 2023 and developed minor illnesses in my body and mind," and said, "After leaving Shooting Stars, I spent time for myself."
