Lee Junho and Kim Min-ha showed exceptional chemistry even outside the drama.
On the 27th, a live broadcast titled "Special interview with Typhoon Family's CEO Kang Taepung and section chief Oh Miseon" aired on the YouTube channel 'Channel Fifteen Night'. On that day, the leads of tvN's new drama Typhoon Family, Lee Junho and Kim Min-ha, appeared.
In the broadcast, Lee Junho hinted about future developments, saying, "There are many kinds of love. (Love line) You can look forward to it," leaving a significant hint. Producer Na Young-seok smiled warmly and added, "These days I'm wearing fangirl lenses. I get overly immersed in dramas," which drew laughter.
The two actors also mentioned their first impressions of each other. Lee Junho recalled, "I first met her when we did a small-scale script reading. It was winter, Hannam-dong. It was a really cold day. As we exchanged lines, I immediately felt strongly that 'we fit so well.'"
Kim Min-ha also said, "We did a fairly long reading that day. There was an exciting scene and it made me very excited. Even simple scenes like the subway scene felt, 'This scene is so pretty.' From the reading, my heart was pounding," which warmed the set.
When asked about the future love line between the two characters, Lee Junho previewed, "Definitely, aren't they the closest people they can rely on during turbulent times? As peers, their relationship isn't simply a quickly formed romantic feeling; it becomes a relationship that seeps in, and they wonder, 'Do I like them?'"
