A YouTuber with more than 3 million subscribers, Jmovie (real name Na Hyunggab), is attracting attention for living in an ultra-high-priced dwelling.
On the 28th, Korea Economy TV reported that in July Jmovie signed a jeonse contract with a deposit of 7.7 billion won for one unit with a dedicated area of 206㎡ (about 75 pyeong) at the ultra-high-priced dwelling Nine One Hannam in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. This drew attention as the highest jeonse transaction for that size range.
Nine One Hannam attracted attention as an ultra-high-priced dwelling from the time it was completed in 2019. From the complex entrance it strictly controls entry by outsiders, and it touted large luxury homes of at least 75 pyeong in Hannam-dong, one of Seoul's wealthy neighborhoods.
Many celebrities choosing Nine One Hannam also drew attention. Earlier, Big Bang member G-Dragon, BTS members RM and Jimin, singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa, and model-turned-actor Ju Jihoon were reported to live in Nine One Hannam, creating a stir.
Jmovie has been a YouTuber presenting reviews of films and drama since 2017. His channel has about 3.89 million subscribers. He has also stated that before Nine One Hannam he lived in another ultra-high-priced residence, Acro Seoul Forest, a 77-pyeong unit in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
