'Nice to Not Meet You' cast announced a viewership pledge.
On the afternoon of the 28th, an online live production presentation for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Nice to Not Meet You" was held, with director Kim Ga-ram and actors Lee Jeong-jae, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Ji-hoon and Seo Ji-hye in attendance.
"Nice to Not Meet You" is a drama about a once-humble national actor who has lost his original spirit and an entertainment reporter obsessed with realizing justice engaged in a war of diss, fact bombardment and prejudice breaking. In the spectacular entertainment industry where all kinds of incidents break out almost daily, the hostile chemistry between the top star entangled in a spiteful fate and the entertainment reporter is expected to offer empathy and excitement amid unique laughs.
When asked about the target viewership rating that day, director Kim Ga-ram said, "Even if I get criticized, I'll do it. 30%. I want to make history for tvN. I'll take the criticism," and added, "If achieved, I will make a music video for 'Nice to Not Meet You'."
Lim Ji-yeon also said, "I'll set it at 30% too, and if achieved I will star in the music video and sing," and Kim Ji-hoon and Seo Ji-hye also declared, "We will dance in the music video."
Meanwhile, Lee Jeong-jae said, "I recently appeared on 'You Quiz.' It hasn't aired yet, but Cho Sae-ho told me to set a viewership pledge. So I hope you'll check it out on 'You Quiz,'" teasing a pledge and drawing laughter.
