The third-generation founder of the tteokbokki franchise brand Sinjeon Tteokbokki will debut in a boy band.
Modenberry Korea on the 28th unveiled trainee Ha Min-gi (photo) and said, "We plan to introduce a new boy group in the second half of 2026."
Born in 2007, Ha Min-gi is the nephew of Ha Sung-ho, co-founder and CEO of Sinjeon Tteokbokki. He trained at SM Entertainment and stands 185 cm tall.
The agency said, "The Sinjeon Tteokbokki family is actively supporting Ha Min-gi's debut," adding, "Ha Min-gi will first communicate with the public through various channels."
Ha Min-gi said through the agency, "I'm already excited at the thought of communicating with fans," and added, "I'm still a trainee, but I want to become an artist and reach the public with heartfelt music."
Modenberry Korea is home to Bang Min-su, formerly of "TEEN TOP," and An Som-i, formerly of "DIA."
