On the 27th episode of KBS 1TV daily drama Marie and Her Three Daddies (directed by Seo Yong-soo, written by Kim Hong-joo), episode 11, Ju Si-ra (played by Park Eun-hye) went all out to raise money after her daughter Kang Ma-ri (played by Ha Seung-ri) suffered because of her.
In that episode, Ju Si-ra (Park Eun-hye) was outraged with her relative and friend Yoon Eon-gyeong (played by Jo Hyang-gi). Eon-gyeong had given Ma-ri a cashbook as a graduation gift and left a note saying, 'Manage your salary well. So you don't end up like your mother.' Si-ra, meeting Eon-gyeong at the hospital, vented her anger, saying, "If you want to ignore someone, ignore only me." Although she is a lacking mother, Si-ra could not hide her emotion because her maternal love for Ma-ri is not lacking.
Si-ra's ordeal did not end there. Boss Hong (played by Kim Deok-hyun)'s mistress came to Si-ra and caused a commotion. The mistress mentioned the card Boss Hong had given Si-ra as a gift and pressured her to repay the charges. The mistress claimed that her having Boss Hong's child had been discovered by his legal wife, leaving her ostracized, so she insisted that at least the money Si-ra had spent should be repaid to cover the baby's formula. Si-ra scoffed at the absurd claim.
When Si-ra refused to give money, the mistress went to the hospital to find Ma-ri. It was Lee Poong-joo (played by Ryu Jin) who helped the beleaguered Ma-ri. He told Boss Hong's mistress, who was causing a disturbance and shoving Ma-ri and her friend Ahn Su-seon (played by Lee Ji-yeon), "Please stop. If you don't want to be charged with business obstruction and disturbing the peace," cutting her off and bringing the situation to an end. The tense relationship between Ma-ri and Poong-joo, who had snarled at each other whenever they crossed paths, softened a bit, drawing attention to how their relationship might change going forward.
Meanwhile, Si-ra was enraged when she heard that Ma-ri had been assaulted. But with no clear way to raise money, she worried until she remembered a gold ring Boss Hong had given her earlier. The jewelry shop, however, judged the ring to be fake, and Si-ra erupted in anger, thinking she had been deceived.
Meanwhile, Poong-joo's father Lee Ok-soon (played by Kang Sin-il) was at his wits' end over a son uninterested in marriage. Ok-soon, deciding to run away after Poong-joo rejected a woman he had introduced, went straight to a real estate agency. Hearing that Ma-ri's back room was available for rent, he moved to sign the contract immediately. At that time, Min-bo, who was looking for a place to stay in Korea, visited the same real estate agency at the suggestion of Um Gi-boon (played by Jung Ae-ri), the actual owner of Ma-ri's house, prompting curiosity about what new developments their meeting might bring.
